Scandinavian Saints: Mormonism in 19th-century Sweden, Norway, and Denmark

This paper will look at the Latter-day Saint movement’s first non-English-language mission field: 19th-century Scandinavia. It will focus on how evolving Mormon racial ideologies attracted missionaries to Scandinavia and how the tumultuous political and religious climate of the region in the 1800s affected conversions.
