An important part of my faith journey started with my singing in the Tabernacle Choir, continued through my leaving the Church (after coming out as gay), and ended with rediscovering my Mormon voice through writing. This session will tell the story of how I began the process of mending my divided heart, particularly in the wake of the November 2015 exclusion policy. I will be reading selections from the various personal essays I’ve published since November 5, 2015.
